From The Ego Dialogues

I found this a little bit ago and had to share it. I'm not sure where it originated from other than I found it at http://www.egodialogues.com/bright-side/wednesday-night-goodie.php

The site has a lot of funny little tid bits, check it out. If anyone knows where this originated from, let me know.

"Wednesday Night Goodie

A woman walks into a bank in New York City and asks for the loan officer.

She says she's going to Europe on business for two weeks and needs to borrow $5,000.

The bank officer says the bank will need some kind of security for the loan, so the woman hands over the keys to a new Mercedes Benz SL 500. The car is parked on the street in front of the bank. She has the title, and everything checks out.
The bank agrees to accept the car collateral for the loan. The bank's president and its officers all enjoy a good laugh at the woman for using a $110,000 Benz as collateral against a $5,000 loan.

An employee of the bank then proceeds to drive the Benz into the bank's underground garage and parks it there.

Two weeks later, the woman returns. She repays the $5,000 and the interest, which comes to $15.41.

The loan officer says, "Miss, we are very happy to have had your business, and this transaction has worked out very nicely, but we are a little puzzled. While you were away, we checked you out and found that you are a multimillionaire. What puzzles us is, why would you bother to borrow $5,000?"

The woman replies, "Where else in New York City can I park my car for two weeks for only $15.41 and expect it to be there when I return?" "

Long time no update!

Whoops! Well, I've been so engrossed with school that I have completely neglected my Etsy and Blogger duties. Now that midterms are over I'm back. I've been doing a ton of wonderful things. I've developed my imps into a wonderful design on a vase. They are now going to be called 'nefs' because of their nefarious ways. Seriously excited about getting a line of those out. Until then, here's a sneak peak at what I have going on.]

Straight off the phone to you Bloggers!

Alright, so I don't think that the photos are so horrible that I have to explain what's going on there. It isn't finished yet, but I intend to make those guys collectibles and pendants by the end of November and have them on Etsy.

Until then, Check out my etsy for new polymer clay pendants.

Here's a peek.

Also, because it's almost WINTER! No, I know, I said it, "winter".... I am actually a little excited because this winter will be interesting. There's a lot of inside time, and a lot of not going out time ahead! So, I'll be able to do a whole ton of new stuff.

Of course. Check out Lisa's knits for a warm up to your wardrobe this winter. I can't ever get enough. I always hope she's making the next one for me, but because she loves you guys, she'll sell them to you for the going rate! Links and photos below.

And of course, Don't forget to check out the other stuff we have on etsy. If you have any questions you can always send me an e-mail or comment on this blog!

Neat Stuff to Come

I was bored today. The sun wasn't really out at all. Kind of overcast and dreary. But oh well. Yesterday I finished a bunch of pendants that I'll be putting on etsy shortly. Over this long weekend I had a sale! Yay! I sold some more of my polymer clay 'Bright' series beads. I was very excited about that. They'll be headed to Sweden!

I have a stash of items to list this coming week and and really looking forward to that and starting classes again. I'll be going strong all day Mon. and Wed. and then for tax classes on Saturday! It'll be nice to be back into a normal 'student' routine. Although, I'm a bit worried about this A(H1N1)flu that's going around. I really hate getting sick and I had an amazing winter and summer without anything other than some minor allergies. Hopefully I'll be able to get the vaccine when it comes out in October.

Other than that not much is going on. Check back for the clay pendants later this week. Hopefully tomorrow because it doesn't look like the weather is going to be nice for the rest of the week.

See ya,
Leigh

The Not so Yard Sale

So, I wanted to do a yard sale to destash some of the stuff we have because it's not worth it to put on etsy. But oh well, that's not going to happen. But that's that. Eh? So instead I guess I'm just going to start taking items, like the poly clay beads, and sell them in bulk to whomever wants them!

Other than that the car was a pain, but it all turned out well. Anyways, today has been a heck of a day.

Check out the etsy ~ wishonafish.etsy.com
It'd make me happy.

Candle Votives and Vases! Yipee!

This has got to be an exciting moment for me. Because I have now gone beyond my little glass marbles, beyond the mojo, beyond the beads, to this: Candle votive's and vases! I love 'em. They have got to be the easiest present to give and receive. They are always different and fun.

Now that I'm making them I am so excited. It's a new way to light up my life! With tea lights.

Anyways, I started using Fimo clay now. Next week I'll use Kato, then Premo! the week after. I like to switch it up because they all work different ways and produce different items.

As for my life. It will become overly complicated next week with college and tax classes. My car also took a turn down 'hate me' alley. The transmission coolant lines - yes two, have decided to break on me at the same time. I could have filled up kiddie pools with the amount that it was leaking. -$200...

Please buy stuff!
